One day, I tasted the Crottin de Chavignol ...This gem of goat heritage is to be tasted semi - dry, for its freshness, bluish, more delicate, blue, with nutty aromas. A nice balance between acidity and sweetness.

Le Crottin de Chavignol comes from the old Berry village of the same name installed in the middle of the vineyards.

It is rare for a wine and a cheese to have the same name.

This is the case of Chavignol which is both a cru from the Sancerre appellation and a cheese.

The grass that gave the milk, like the grapes from which the wine is made, come from the same territory.

Wine suggestion: White Sancerre.
